Providers

Not every piece of Quota supports every provider yet. Here’s where things stand right now.

Provider Desktop VS Code quota-cli and Herdr
Claude Code Yes Yes Yes
Codex Yes Yes Yes
GitHub Copilot Yes Yes No
Cursor Yes No Yes
Antigravity Yes Yes Yes
Kiro Yes Yes Yes
Grok Yes Yes Yes
OpenCode Go Yes Yes No

Cursor isn’t in the VS Code extension because Cursor is its own standalone editor now. The desktop app and the CLI still track it.

Each provider measures usage differently, so the rows you see depend on the provider.

Provider Tracks
Claude Code 5 hour window, weekly window, weekly Sonnet, extra usage
Codex 5 hour window, weekly window
GitHub Copilot Premium requests, chat messages, inline suggestions
Cursor Plan usage for the current billing cycle, plus Auto + Composer, API and on-demand usage in the desktop app
Antigravity Gemini 5 hour and weekly, Claude and GPT 5 hour and weekly, AI credits when you have them
Kiro Prompt credits, plus bonus or add-on credits when you have them
Grok Credit window, monthly spend, on-demand spend
OpenCode Go 5 hour, weekly and monthly usage

Everything defaults to showing what you have left. If you’d rather see what you’ve used:

  • Desktop: Settings, Appearance, Show usage as, then pick Used.
  • VS Code: set quota.statusBar.display to percentUsed.
  • quota-cli and Herdr: always show what’s left.

OpenCode doesn’t have a sign-in flow for other apps, so you connect it with your Go API key from the OpenCode console. Usage comes from an endpoint OpenCode hasn’t documented yet. If they change it, this provider might need a quick update.
